Episode 36: Rise Of The Cyber Warrior

Episode 36: Rise Of The Cyber Warrior

"It all went to hell when the world’s greatest cyber warriors chose to wage war for themselves and not on behalf of the politicians that hired them. Hackers, they used to be called." -R.J. Huneke, Cyberwar

This week's episode features a riveting discussion with author/columnist R.J. Huneke, the founder of the company Runeworks and its comic book publication division POWKabam.

R.J. tells the incredible story of a life-changing cross-country trip from the east coast to California reminiscent of Jack Kerouac's On the Road and Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. Eventually R.J. would go on to write the technological thriller Cyberwar. The first volume of a series of novels, Cyberwar tells the story of a not-too-distant future in which hackers seize the world governments, creating a new world order. R.J. and Adrian discuss the real-world landscape which inspired the novel including cyber warfare, internet security, political protest and the impact that "hacktivism" has on our world.

Cyberwar is available for sale at the following retailers:
Amazon
Barnes & Noble
